Effect of COVID-19 Risk Perception on Cosmeceutical Purchase Intention and Behavior

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate how the perception risk COVID-19 affects consumers' intentions or behaviors purchase cosmeceuticals.Methods: Adults in their 20s older living Seoul metropolitan area were sampled. survey was conducted for two weeks from third week fourth February 2022, and only 230 valid data used final analysis, excluding insincere responses.Results: Perception social/environmental, economic, psychological found have a negative (-) effect on intention, cosmeceutical cosmetics intention had significant positive (+) behavior. Also, among perceptions COVID-19, social/environmental risk, economic physical purchasing mediating confirmed relationship between behavior.Conclusion: As result study, it that perceived by adults decreased behavior cosmetics. results will be meaningful as examined cosmeceuticals great implications industry preparing post-corona era.
